Message	I wouldn't recommend anything. But then, image quality was one of my priorities. If he posted a few weeks earlier, then Mercata has this deal going on right now. New customers get $100 credit (must be used by Nov 31) and if you use your Microsoft Passport, then you'll get an additional 20% off (must be used by Dec 22). If he purchased the Nikon Coolpix 800 2.1 megapixel, then Nikon also has a $75 rebate on top of that. So he could have potentially gotten the cp800 for a grand total of... $200. Unfortunately, I believe Mercata is out of the cp800. I, myself, have decided to upgrade to the Nikon cp950. This is a $600+ camera (used to be $900+ when it came out) that I'm getting for $400 w/ the Mercata deals and Nikon rebate. Cheers! Michael.
